What is a Combined Audit Service (CAS)?

A Combined Audit Service is where a client has two or more management systems assessed at the same time. These systems are not seen as being integrated and usually have separate manuals and controls.

A Combined Audit Service is a value added service offered by BSI to ensure assessments are co-ordinated and conducted on the same dates. The simple impact of this is to reduce administration costs and minimize disruption to organizations. It does not necessarily mean the assessment duration will be any shorter.
