Overview
Since May 1998, BSI has been an active participant in the development of the TL 9000 standard. Initially as a member of Independent Association of Accredited Registrars (IAAR) and now as a Liaison Member in its own right. Our commitment to TL 9000 has continued to grow enabling BSI to be:
- an active liaison member of the QuEST Forum.
- a Pilot Program Participant, with its client, Tellabs and be one of the original registrars to receive accreditation by ANSI-RAB.
- a respected representative in several QuEST Forum committees as well as forum meetings.
- the registrar of choice for the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) which is the metrics repository for all QuEST Forum members. BSI has registered UTD to (British Standard) BS 7799 Information Security Management Systems standard to help protect the security of the metrics data required by TL 9000 and anonymity of participants.
