ISO 22000 Lead Auditor
The primary objective of this course is to instruct food safety auditors in the principles and practices specific to auditing to ISO 22000 food safety management system standard. It incorporates national and international food safety regulations and codex alimentarius HACCP principles. Delegates will be assessed in two different ways, a written examination and a continuous assessment of their attitude and performance.
It is recommended that delegates have prior knowledge of food safety management systems standards, auditing and knowledge of HACCP principles. This is not mandatory, as this course is intended for those who are relatively new to ISO 22000 management system auditing, but delegates should have some food safety background.
- Implementation throughout the business of an international food safety management system and the implementation of processes and principles of HACCP food safety risk analysis
- Understanding of the roles and responsibilities of auditors and lead auditors in the context of ISO 22000 food safety management system audits
- Ability to plan, prepare, perform and report both verbally and in writing an audit in accordance with the requirements of established relevant audit criteria.
